Nike & Afolabi Wedding Video at Luton Hoo (UK)

The marriage of Nike & Afolabi was one of the most extravagant African Weddings of the year, including performing stars flown in from Nigeria and an after party to rival any in Hollywood.  The wedding videography just had to match!

We met Nike and Afolabi a very long time before their wedding day so it gave us a good chance to get to know them on a personal level. We understood that their wedding was as important event as much for them as their parents.

The night before the wedding all their parents friends and family were taken to London to a beautiful restaurant and entertained with traditional African music and dancing. Meanwhile the younger members of the wedding party were treated to a gala dinner with a live band for entertainment at the famous Luton Hoo Hotel.

On the day of the actual wedding, preparations were going on to host a formal wedding Breakfast and an after party, the logistics were very challenging for us because the distance between the different locations were many miles apart on the estate of the hotel. We overcame this as we had three wedding videography teams working simultaneously at the different locations so we captured everything beautifully without missing a thing.

The evening party had every element of a really great concert atmosphere, champagne was flowing, food was abundant and the singers flown in from Nigeria were top of the charts. The DJ played until the early hours and live music from different groups each had their own set.

When it was time for the guests to leave Chauffeurs awaited in Limousines and took them back to the main hotel.

The Urban Cinematography team loved filming this exciting and challenging wedding just for the pure creativity involved, we had so many different aspects and vistas to capture.
